Handmade costume work built around the character.
For Portgas D. Ace, I built the costume as a hands-on craft project, sewing the costume and creating character elements with EVA foam.
The result combines the handmade construction with styling and physical performance, keeping the silhouette recognizable while giving the final photographs a natural, lived-in character presence.
